Rewatching this just realised that they made some of the staff of the show characters in it lol

They're featured in the guest list Kogoro talks about from 3:24 to 3:34. Most of those are music compositors and the singers of ops and eds and the woman in TWO MIX is the voice actor of Conan himself

they even made a joke about it in the episode where TwoMix is introduced very early in the franchise. the Detective Boy's Club meet the sister of the sibling duo outside the arena where TwoMix is about to play a huge show. she invites Conan n the kids to a nearby family resturaunt and i think Ayumi makes the comment that Conan and the lady's voices both sound the same. so the singer jokes, 'maybe i'll get Conan to fill in for me next time i lose my voice.' n everybody laughs and says, 'that would sound horrible! Conan's tone-deaf!' later on in the episode the kids join TwoMix on stage and they get to sing with the duo, Conan included. of course, Ran and Sonoko are in the audience since they were huge TwoMix fans and are entirely shocked!

That episode is one of my favorites I just wouldn’t put in top episodes from this series

This is probably the best English I've heard from this show. They probably chose some special voice actors for the foreigners but they're really good!!

i looked up all three of the American athlete characters, but i couldn't find their VAs on MyAnimeList. those characters aren't even listed on the Conan entry. i bet they cast some Americans/Europeans etc. living/working in Japan.
